Right thinking creates the right outcomes. A consultant becomes a cost only when the value delivered is lower than the price you paid for it. Yes, there are ‘consultants’ like this on the market, but let’s leave them alone, they will get their lessons at some point.
Consultants, mentors, coaches, or programs which bring value are always an investment. It may not always have a direct financial reward as an outcome. The value may come in the form of stress relief or an energy shift within your team’s motivation or an improvement of staff retention rates. It is not always about money.
